Anode Installation/ Underwater Burning

Sealane Inshore’s long term employed divers have extensive knowledge and experience over the years of anode installation and wet welding and have all acquired either the gold standard AWS D3.6 class A qualification or the British Standard equivalent BS 4872-1.

Although every anode install can be slightly different and challenging Sealane have completed numerous installs to date, all on time and within budget and more importantly safely. Sealane are also equipped to carry out Oxy/Arc burning underwater for any underwater steel elements needing removed.

Over the past few years Sealane have completed numerous Cathodic protection for some big name company’s.

At Sealane all of our full-time divers are now coded to BS- 4872-1 or AWS D3.6 Class A.

We have recently gained (WPS) welding procedure specification in accordance with AWS D3.6M Class A Specification.

The above giving Clients peace of mind when it comes to quality assurance. Sealane divers are CPCS trained A66 Spidercrane operators therefore cutting costs of expensive crane hire on medium to long term jobs, reducing costs to the end client and making Sealane self-sufficient.
