Sealane have been contracted by PD Ports group Ltd to supply and install a 25 year cathodic protection system consisting of a total of 1776No sacrificial galvanic anodes.
The works started in 2021 and will take place over a period of 3 years supplying and installing anodes to Victoria Quay, Hereema Quay, RNLI Lifeboat station, Deep water berth and Irvine’s quay.
All anodes are designed with a 25 year lifespan and will be welded underwater by our in house coded diver welders to AWS D3.6 M 2017.
To date this is Sealane’s biggest underwater welding project with a total cost circa £595,000.00 GBP
